THE SECOND VOLUME OF THE BOOK “GEOGRAPHY AND ETHNOS OF THE TURKIC WORLD” WAS PUBLISHED

The second volume of the book “Geography and ethnos of the Turkic world”, prepared by the ANAS Institute of Geography named after academician H.Aliyev, was published.
The author and consultant of the publication “Economic and social geography” is academician Akif Alizadeh. The editors are academician Ramiz Mammadov and academician Nizami Jafarov. The responsible for book publishing is PhD Maharram Hasanov.
ScDs (Geography) Zakir Eminov and Nariman Pashayev, PhDs Maharram Hasanov, Nizami Eyubov, Zaur Imrani, Gunesh Aghakishiyeva, Etibar Badalov, Samira Alakbarova, Rovshan Kerimov and Hijran Taghirova worked on the book.
The economic, geographical and social situation of 6 independent states and 11 national organizations of the Turkic world are considered in the book. The role and participation of these countries in the restoration of the “ancient Silk Way” has been carefully studied.
The second volume of the book consists of three chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to the economic-geographical position and political situation in the countries of the Turkic world.
The second volume considers the human potential and labor forces of individual nationalities. The third chapter examines the economic systems of the region.
At the same time, the first volume of the book “Geography and Ethnos of the Turkic World” was published in Russian.
The book contains a lot of encyclopedic scientific information, maps, charts and photographs.
The book will be useful for specialists, students, teachers and non-specialist audiences.
