A MASTER CLASS WAS HELD AT NEXT ASSEMBLY OF THE Council OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS

The young scientists and specialists of the ANAS Institute of Geology and Geophysics held next assembly in terms of which a master class was given.
The meeting was opened by Deputy Director in Science, corresponding member of ANAS Dadash Huseynov. D.Huseynov introduced the participants the professor for “Radar Remote Sensing” at Leibniz University Hannover and Leader4 of the working group “Radar and optical remote sensing for geohazards” of the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences Dr. Mehdi Motagh. The German scientist made a report “The use SAR space data for natural and anthropogenic hazards monitoring”.
Young scientists and specialists from other organizations of the ANAS Division of Earth Sciences also took part in this master class.
The foreign professor spoke in detail about the activities and capabilities of GFZ, about the researches carrying out with remote sensing, and also about the results of space researches.
