THE QUESTION OF THE LAND PLOTS USE ALLOCATED TO THE NANA EMPLOYEES WAS DISCUSSED AT THE MEETING OF THE UNITED TRADE UNIONS COMMITTEE

The next meeting of the ANAS United Trade Unions Committee was held in the Institute of Geology and Geophysics. The Deputy Director of the ANAS Department of Administrative Affairs Sardar Aliyev, members of the ANAS Trade Union, deputy directors for general matters of scientific institutions and organizations of the
Academy and chairmen of union participated in the meeting.
First, the participants paid a minutes tribute of silence to the memory of prominent orientalist, academician Vasim Mamedaliyev.
The chairman of the United Trade Union Committee, Doctor in Law, Professor Gabil Gurbanov opened the meeting and introduced the participants to the agenda.
Sardar Aliyev also spoke about strengthening control over the use of land provided to the Academy employees at the Khizi base station. According to scientist, the land was allocated from the balance of the Khizi agricultural production complex of ANAS in order to improve the social situation and organize effective recreation for the Academy staff. S. Aliyev said that the work on the site was carried out in accordance with the document “Rules for the allocation and use of land for temporary use for horticultural and gardening purposes to ANAS employees”, approved at a meeting of the Presidium. He noted that over the past period, mapping was carried out in this territory, land was distributed, access roads were laid, water wells were drilled and some excavation work was carried out. It is currently planned to plant trees in the area that match the terrain.
S. Aliyev asked deputy directors for general matters of scientific institutions and organizations to provide support in solving problems regarding current shortcomings.
It should be noted that 22 employees of IGG were allocated 10 acres of land plot.
