Collaborators of the Geology Institute participated in the forum of young scientists held in Russia


In Moscow, on 7th of November, the forum on the theme "Past, present and future of science in Russia" began its work. Young scientists from the CIS countries participate in the event. Our country was represented by Chairman of the Young Scientists Council of the Geology Institute, PhD in geological-mineralogical sciences Gulam Babayev and his deputy, Arif Huseynov.

At the opening of the official part of the event President of the Academy of Sciences of Russia, Yuri Osipov, Secretary of Education Andrei Fursenko, the president of the Association of Innovation Olga Uskova and others were spoken.

Then the young scientists made reports and plenary discussions. Babayev spoke on "The Union of Young Scientists of the Geology Institute for 2005-2011 years", and described the activities and achievements of the organization, that he directed.

At the forum the issues of expanding cooperation of young scientists of the CIS countries, solutions of social problems including improvements of their living conditions were discussed.

At the present forum continues its work in Zvenigorod and ends on November 12.
