Graduated from geological-geographical faculty of  Baku State University BSU (1982). Doctor of geological-mineralogical sciences (2005). Since 1991 has been working in Geology Institute of ANAS. Head of the department of  “Sedimentology and paleogeography”. 


Field of research: sedimentology, sequence - stratigraphy, HC reservoirs architecture, petroleum systems, environmental geology.
