Recently, the next 72nd International conference and exhibition of the European association of scientists and engineers-geologists and geophysicists was held in Barcelona, Spain, under the motto "New spring for the geosciences", which was attended by about 5000 scientists and experts from many countries of the world. At the conference about  the 900 scientific reports were listened, and at the exhibition the latest achievements in the field of geotechnology were presented by more than 300 companies of the world.

The employee of the Geology Institute of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), the head of the department of oil and gas geology and geochemistry, the corresponding member of ANAS Akper Feyzullaev also took part in the conference job. He made a report "Abnormally-high pressure in the South Caspian Basin(SCB): laws of distribution and their nature" and presented a poster "Direct diagnostics of abnormally-high pressures in SCB on seismic data", prepared together with Yusif Shikhaliyeva ( State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic).
