On June 23, in the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences the three-day republican-wide scientific-practical conference started on a theme “The geoecological problems of Azerbaijan and the scientific basis of their regulation”.

The organizers of the meeting are the Geology Institute of ANAS and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

The geoecological problems in the country, the scientific basis of their regulation, the regulation of geoecological condition connected with the overflows in Kura, the anthropogenic influence to the formation of geoecological condition and the other problems will be discussed in conference. Also, the new Geoecological Map of Azerbaijan will be presented. 

The leaders of ANAS and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and also the experts in this theme will participate in the meeting.
