Department of Earth Sciences and the staff of the
Geology Institute of ANAS cordially congratulate him with the significant event
in your life - 80th anniversary birthday and 55th years of your
scientific-pedagogical activity!
They know him as an eminent scientist in the field of
petroleum geology, geochemistry of natural gases and geochemical methods for
minerals search.
Dadashev F. has conducted geochemical researches of
natural gases of the Earth's crust, hydrosphere and surface atmosphere which
allowed to establish basic patterns of their distribution, to determine
conditions of the formation of gas regimes in different regions of the Alpine
geosynclinal belt, and to estimate the intensity of modern hydrocarbon breath of
the Earth's interior. You suggested a new method for studying gas hydrosphere
and developed the gas-geochemical criteria of allocation zones mainly of oil and
gas accumulation.
His theoretical developments successfully
introduced in the search for oil, gas, sulfide deposits, in the building
of hydrotechnical, civil and industrial projects, in the field of
ecology.
The possibility of formation of gas hydrates on
submarine mud volcanoes of the Caspian Sea first time was theoretically proved
by him and this was confirmed during offshore expeditions, jointly with
colleagues from the Oceanology Institute of RAS.
He has an interesting quality of scientific
foresight. Dadashev F. is one of the pioneers of offshore oil field Guneshli.
His predictions confirmed the discovery of number of large oil, gas and gas
condensate deposits in the Southern Caspian.
Much attention he gives to preparation and education
of scientific personnel and it was reflected many times noted in the annual
reports of the Institute. Along with scientific work he conducted also large
public activity, was the chairman of the Special Council for the defence of
doctoral dissertations, chairman and member of various scientific councils at
RAS and ANAS.
He was the participant of the international
conferences, meetings and the congresses, actively propagandize achievements of
the Azerbaijan geological science.
Dadash F. was awarded by Laureate of State Award of
Azerbaijan, Honoured Scientist, medals of "Glory", "Honor" - recognition
of his merits in development of national science and introduction of scientific
results into practice.
The staff of the Geology Institute of ANAS hope, that
many more years they will be glad of communicating with him - a talented
scientist, kind and attentive mentors.
